Jackets Conclude Competition at U.S. Senior National Championships

IRVINE, Calif. – Sophomore Rob Miller clocked an Olympic Trials qualifying standard of 15:42.60 in the men’s 1500-meter freestyle to finish in ninth place to lead Georgia Tech at the 2005 ConocoPhillips U.S. Senior National Championships on Saturday.

Miller, a native of Alpharetta, Ga., swam a time of 4:03.30 in the prelims of the men’s 400-meter free to finish in 45th place for the Yellow Jackets.

Sophomore Elizabeth Stowe posted a time of 16:57.90 in the women’s 1500m free to log a 17th-place finish for the Jackets.
