THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s swimming and diving competed for the first time at the NCAA Championships on Thursday.
McKenzie Campbell kicked off the action for the Yellow Jackets in the 200 IM. Campbell competed in the first heat of the event and finished fourth in her heat with a time of 2:00.73.
Eyes shifted to the diving well for the 1-meter diving event with Cami Hidalgo taking part in the event. Hidalgo performed well scoring sixes and sevens on most of her dives except for one dive. This would ultimately cause her to fail to qualify for finals in the event.
The White and Gold will continue NCAA Championship competition on Friday with Campbell and Hidalgo competing in the 400 IM and 3-meter.
