Inside the Swarm: Option Football

Georgia Tech quarterbacks and B-backs Coach Bryan Cook talks with Brandon Gaudin about the intricacies of running the option, as well as the trends around the realm of college football.

Last season, the Georgia Tech offense averaged 430 yards of offense and over 35 points per game. It was the third-highest scoring average for Georgia Tech in the modern era and marked the fourth time in six seasons under Paul Johnson that the Jackets have averaged over 33 points per contest.

Each week, Inside the Swarm will give fans an in-depth look at Georgia Tech’s football program. The series will include coaches and student-athletes as the prepare for the upcoming 2014 season.
