LEXINGTON, Ky. – All-American sophomore Chaunte Howard (Riverside, Calif.) captured the high jump to lead the Georgia Tech men’s and women’s track and field team tonight in day one of the Kentucky Invitational. It is the second straight first place tally for Howard, who tied a school record at the Clemson Opener back on Dec. 6 with a mark of 6’2.25″. Day two of the indoor invitational meet will continue Saturday, Jan. 17, in the Nutter Fieldhouse, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
