THE FLATS – Tadric Jackson, ranked as the top prep guard in the state of Georgia last year, comes to Tech on the heels of winning a class 6A state championship with Tift County High School and being named all-class Player of the Year in the state.
A 4-star prospect ranked as high as 68th nationally in the class of 2014 (by ESPN.com), Jackson was rated the top guard in the state by national recruiting analyst Justin Young on Hoopseen.com and rated 14th nationally at his position.
Jackson is a left-handed guard with the ability to score in a variety of ways, explode to the basket, create for others, and defend with intensity. “He received excellent coaching on a daily basis at Tift County High School, one of the best programs in the state,” says Coach Brian Gregory.
Jackson will wear No. 1 this season for the Yellow Jackets.
