Freshman Calvin Johnson recorded his third 100-yard receiving game of the season with five catches for 108 yards.

Johnson now has 41 catches for 732 yards on the season. He already had the Tech freshman record for receiving yards in a season, and he is now 121 yards away from Koren Robinson’s (NC State, 1999, 853 yards) ACC freshman record.

Gerris Wilkinson had a career-high 18 tackles

Georgia Tech fell to Virginia at home for the first time since 1994. In fact, it was the first win by a visiting team in the Tech-Virginia series since the Cavaliers’ 24-7 victory in 1994

Levon Thomas’ 46-yard kickoff return was Tech’s longest of the season
