ATLANTA — A one-hour capsule of Paul Johnson’s first spring practice with Georgia Tech is featured this week when the “2008 Georgia Tech Football Preview” debuts on CSS (Comcast Sports Southeast) Wednesday night at 7 p.m., Eastern.
The show, produced by the video department of Georgia Tech athletics, features the first-year Tech football coach and Wes Durham, the “Voice of the Yellow Jackets”.
Other features in the program include two former Yellow Jackets talking to current Yellow Jackets. Dorsey Levens, who starred for the Jackets in the early `90’s, talks with senior defensive tackle Darryl Richard. All-ACC offensive tackle Andrew Gardner visits with former Tech quarterback Rick Strom.
Defensive coordinator Dave Wommack provides a comprehensive review of the spring and what he expects from his unit this fall, and Johnson gives fans an orientation into how his offensive system was developed.
The show was produced by Terrance Beavers, Andy Blanton and Durham in conjunction with CSS.
The show will have additional airings through the remainder of the spring and summer until August. Check with Ramblinwreck.com for additional information on future shows.
