Georgia Tech Football Inks 18th of Early Signing Period

THE FLATSJames Graham, a quarterback from Fitzgerald, Ga., signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Georgia Tech on Friday. Graham is the 18th student-athlete to officially join the Yellow Jackets during the NCAA’s first-ever early signing period for football.

Fitzgerald is rated as a four-star prospect by ESPN, 247Sports/Scout and Rivals and is the 17th-ranked athlete in the nation, according to 247Sports/Scout.

“James is an outstanding fit for Georgia Tech and our football program,” head coach Paul Johnson said. “It’s exciting to welcome him to The Flats.”

The early signing period ends on Friday at 11:59 p.m. Student-athletes will be able to sign National Letters of Intent again during the traditional signing period, which begins on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
