THE FLATS – The Georgia Tech softball team is set to play eight games this fall, including a game against the USSSA Florida Pride on its National Pro Fastpitch Tour on Nov. 8 at 12 p.m. at Mewborn Field. All fall games are held at Mewborn Field and admission is free.
Throughout November, the USSSA Florida Pride will travel to six colleges and universities across the Southeast as part of their 2014 Fall Tour, sponsored by Boombah. The back-to-back National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) Champion will take on the University of Georgia, Florida State, Georgia Tech, UAB, Mercer and Wallace State as part of its exhibition schedule.
The Jackets open the fall season with a doubleheader against Chipola Junior College on Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. The Jackets begin October with a single game against Georgia Southern on Oct. 5 at 3 p.m.
Georgia Tech plays four games during the weekend of Oct. 18-19 with a doubleheader against Anderson College on Saturday beginning at 1 p.m., and a doubleheader against Georgia Gwinnett College at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
