Georgia Tech fans can speak with head football coach Chan Gailey on his weekly radio show, which begins this week on Thursday, Aug. 22 at 12 noon.
Coach Gailey’s call-in show can be heard Thursdays from 12 – 1 p.m. on WQXI-AM “Sports Talk 790 The Zone,” the flagship station for Georgia Tech athletics. It can also be heard on the Tech athletics website, www.ramblinwreck.com.
Fans can call 1-888-ISP-RADIO with their questions or comments for Coach Gailey and his co-host, the Voice of the Yellow Jackets, Wes Durham.
This fall, for the first time, the program will be broadcast live from Commune Restaurant, located near the Tech campus at 1198 Howell Mill Road. Directions are available at www.communeatlanta.com.
The complete schedule for the Chan Gailey Call-In Show is as follows: Aug. 22, Aug. 29, Sept. 5, Sept. 12, Sept. 19, Sept. 26, Oct. 3, Oct. 15 (Tuesday), Oct. 24, Oct. 31, Nov. 7, Nov. 14, Nov. 27 (Wednesday).
Also beginning this week is “Georgia Tech Sports Today with Chan Gailey,” the weekly half-hour television program featuring the Tech head coach. Each week, Coach Gailey and co-host Wes Durham will preview the upcoming game while providing a breakdown of the most recent contest.
“Georgia Tech Sports Today with Chan Gailey” airs in the Atlanta area on WAGA Fox 5 each Saturday at 11 a.m., beginning this Saturday, Aug. 24.
The show also airs in the Atlanta area on TV 33 (AT&T Broadband) on Fridays at 7 p.m. and throughout the Southeast on Fox Sports Net South on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m., as well as on selected stations and cable systems in Georgia and around the Southeast.
“Georgia Tech Sports Today with Chan Gailey” runs 13 times during the football season through Nov. 30, with no shows during Tech’s open weeks (Oct. 12 and Nov. 23).
