THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s cross country notched its third national ranking of the season announced Tuesday afternoon by the USTFCCCA.
After placing third last weekend at the Penn State National Open, Tech now has three top-three finishes under its belt this season. Earlier in the season the Jackets broke into the top-30 at No. 20 for the first time since 2002, while also setting a new program high.
For a third-straight week the White and Gold have been ranked in the top-30, which also marks the first time in program history.
Tech travels back to Jamaica Plains, Mass. for the ACC Championship Friday, Oct. 26. The Jackets competed on the same course at the Battle in Beantown late September where they placed second overall. The women’s race begins at 10 a.m. while the men’s race is slated for 11 a.m.
