Connor Howe - 2020-21 Highlights
A regular in the Tech lineup since his freshman year, Connor has two years of eligibility remaining after deciding to take advantage of the extra COVID year allowed by NCAA. Tech’s highest finisher at the ACC Championship, Howe finished in solo ninth place, with a 3-under-par 207. He followed that with a tie for 21st at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional (215, -1) and tied for 71st at the NCAA Championship, helping Tech win a playoff vs. TCU to make the 54-hole cut. He finished the spring ranked No. 173 nationally in the Golfweek/Sagarin Index, No. 222 in Golfstat. Howe earned his first career top-10 finish with a tie for seventh at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate, and tied for 19th at the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate, finished 26th at the Linger Longer Invitational and tied for 23rd at the Calusa Cup in the spring. He posted Tech’s third-best stroke average at 72.61 in a team-high 31 rounds, and has a career stroke average of 72.67 over 76 rounds.
