Clooten Leads Jackets on Day One of ACC Outdoor Championships

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Freshman Alana Clooten tallied a season-best mark of 168 feet, 4 inches, in the women’s hammer throw to finish in eighth place to lead Georgia Tech at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on Thursday.

Day two of the outdoor ACC meet will continue on Friday with the conclusion of the combined events at 10:30 a.m. The entire meet can be followed via live results at http://flashresults.com/2006_Meets/outdoor/ACC/.
