THE FLATS – After helping Georgia Tech to a 2-0 week, freshman Chanin Scott was tabbed ACC Co-Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office today. The weekly awards were voted on by members of the Blue Ribbon Panel.
Scott posted double-figure scoring numbers in both of Tech’s wins last week as the Yellow Jackets improved to 9-1 on the season with victories over Mercer and Appalachian State. Against the Mountaineers, Scott was 1-of-1 from three-point range as the Yellow Jackets set a new program record, hitting 14 three-pointers in the contest.
