INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Yellow Jackets had three swimmers race on day three of the 2017 NCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships on Friday in Indianapolis, Ind.
Senior Ben Southern was the first Jacket to get into the water on Friday morning, as the co-captain turned in a time of 46.78 to place in a tie for 34th-place overall in the 100 butterfly prelims.
Two events later, Moises Loschi competed in the 100 breaststroke prelims, touching the wall in a time of 53.04 to place in a tie for 29th overall.
Racing in his second event in the last two days, Rodrigo Quadros Correia also recorded a 29th-place showing in the 100 backstroke prelims with his time of 46.87.
The trio will all be back in action tomorrow in the final day of the 2017 NCAA Championships. Correia will compete in the 100 free, while Loschi and Southern will race in the 200 breast and 200 fly events, respectively.
