ACC Releases Women’s Basketball Schedule

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech women’s basketball will open its 2022-23 Atlantic Coast Conference schedule with a pair of road games in December as the conference office announced the entire ACC schedule for all teams on Wednesday. Tip times and television coverage will be announced at a later date.

The Yellow Jackets will play four of their first five conference games on the road, traveling to Boston College (Dec. 18), Virginia (Dec. 29), Louisville (Jan. 5) and Wake Forest (Jan. 8). The road swing is broken up by Tech’s ACC home opener against Florida State on New Year’s Day (Jan. 1).

Following the opening stretch, the Jackets will play five of their next six contests in the comfort of McCamish Pavilion. A three-game homestand kicks off with Miami on Jan. 12, followed by Duke on Jan. 15 and Syracuse on Jan. 19. A quick trip to North Carolina on Jan. 22 is followed by traditional home-and-away partner Clemson on Jan. 26.

The Jackets entertain the defending ACC Champion and NCAA Elite 8 participant NC State on Feb. 2 to open the back half of the schedule. Back-to-back road contests at Miami (Feb. 5) and Clemson (Feb. 9) mark the first of four road games in February as the Jackets also visit Florida State (Feb. 19) and Notre Dame (Feb. 23). Also making the trip to Atlanta in February are Pittsburgh (Feb. 12), Wake Forest (Feb. 16) and Virginia Tech (Feb. 26) to conclude regular season play.

The ACC Tournament will be played March 1-5 at the Greensboro (N.C.) Coliseum.
