This Monday, ACC LIVE Spotlights Georgia Tech Volleyball’s Returning All-Americans Lynnette Moster and Lauren Sauer as reporter Jenn Hildreth takes viewers to the hard court – not for basketball, but for an intriguing story about the defending ACC regular season champion Georgia Tech volleyball team.
For the first time in ACC history, two All-Americans return for their senior seasons. Lynnette Moster and Lauren Sauer may have that fact in common, but, oddly enough, that’s about all they share. The Yellow Jacket outside hitters look, play and act as if they are polar opposites – and, yet, they are the perfect complement to each other. Sauer supplies the power, while Moster works the finesse game . . . Moster stands 5-10, in stark contrast to the Sauer’s 6-4 frame! . . . Sauer is the vocal captain, while Moster quietly leads by example.
Despite being so different, the All-Americans have one common goal – to improve upon the school-record 34 wins they helped post last season, and to move past their NCAA “Elite Eight” finish a year ago and advance to a national championship.
The show will air Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m. ET and will then re-air Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 12:30 a.m. on Fox Sports Net South
