“Exploring Our Past, Celebrating Our Future” – Georgia Tech will be wearing its adidas Honoring Black Excellence uniforms on Thursday. Featuring the Cherokee Rose, the Georgia State Flower, the uniforms pay homage and recognize individuals who positively impact others.

Kayla Blackshear recorded a double-double in the first meeting against the Demon Deacons this season with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Blackshear also led Tech on the glass in its last outing against Pitt this past Sunday, securing a team-high 11 rebounds for her fifth game with double-figure rebounding totals. Tech looks to get back to winning ways on Thursday, having fallen in double overtime to the Panthers.

Wake Forest has dropped two of the last three outings, most recently falling to NC State, 51-42. The Demon Deacons are 3-7 when competing on the road, including a 0-7 conference road record. Jewel Spear leads Wake Forest, averaging 16.0 points per game, while Demeara Hinds owns a team-best 6.5 rebounds per game average.

Georgia Tech looks to avenge a loss in the first meeting against Wake Forest on Thursday. The Demon Deacons escaped with a narrow 51-50 decision in Winston-Salem, N.C., in early January, snapping a three-game skid against the Yellow Jackets. Tech leads the all-time series against Wake Forest, 49-28.
