THE FLATS – With the women’s basketball season right around the corner, Georgia Tech has released the promotional schedule for the upcoming season. Theme nights for the season include Military Appreciation Day, Girl Scout Day and Black History Month Recognition Day to name a few.
Georgia Tech kicks off the season on Nov. 4 with an exhibition contest at 2 p.m. against Coastal Georgia. The regular-season home opener is set for Nov. 11 against App State at 2 p.m.
Below is the full promotional schedule for the 2018-19 season:
11/4 – Exhibition vs. Coastal Georgia
-Season ticket holders can pick up their tumblers & ID cards
11/11 – Military Appreciation Day
-Giveaway: first 400 fans receive a schedule magnet; first 500 fans receive a camo Georgia Tech shirt; first 250 fans receive a mini American flag
11/14 – Canned Food Drive
-Fans receive free admission with donation of one (1) canned food item & a free ticket to the December 5 game with donation of (5) canned food items
11/18 – White Out/Alumni Day/Camper Reunion Day #1
-Giveaway: first 500 fans receive a white adidas shirt and mini jersey rally towel; GT students can enter to win prizes including a flat screen TV and electric scooter
12/16 – Retirement Community Day
-Giveaway: first 250 fans receive a free t-shirt
12/30 – Youth Basketball Clinic/Youth Basketball Kids Day
-Postgame camp for 2018 summer women’s basketball campers
1/6 – Girl Scout Day/Camper Reunion Day #2
-Giveaway: first 500 fans receive a navy adidas t-shirt; first 500 GT students receive one (1) free box of Girl Scout cookies
1/10 – Faculty & Staff Appreciation Day
1/20 – Junior Jacket Day/Jacket 2 Jacket Day/Buzz’s Birthday
-Giveaway: first 500 fans receive a Krispy Kreme donut
1/27 – National Girls & Women in Sport Day
-Giveaway: first 500 fans receive a Krispy Kreme donut
2/7 – Black History Month Recognition Day
-Giveaway: first 500 receive exclusive Black History Month rally towel
2/17 – Play4Kay Game (Pink Game)
-Giveaway: first 300 fans receive pink t-shirt & 3-point foam finger
2/21 – Greek Night
-Giveaway: first 300 GT students receive free fidget spinner bottle openers
3/3 – Senior Day/Fan Appreciation Day
-Giveaway: first 200 fans receive Martin Fortune promo item
