THE FLATS – Both the Georgia Tech men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams were tabbed College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) scholar all-America teams for the 2018 spring semester, it was announced today.
The Yellow Jackets were two of 476 teams that earned the distinction of scholar all-America team for the spring 2018 semester with teams represented from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions. To earn the honor, teams were required to post a grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher for the fall semester.
The women’s team posted a combined team grade point average of 3.48 for the spring semester, while the men’s squad recorded a combined team grade point average of 3.14.
Both the women’s (3.07) and men’s (3.10) teams were recognized in the 2017 fall semester as well.
