ATLANTA – Due to the threat of severe weather later this afternoon and tonight, including tornadoes, today’s scheduled softball doubleheader between No. 20 Georgia Tech and Mercer has been cancelled. The games will not be made up.
These games were not on the regular schedule and were added last month to accommodate rain outs earlier in the season for both teams.
The Yellow Jackets will return to action this weekend with a three-game series at Boston College. Tech and BC will play a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m. and then close out the series Sunday at Noon. Live audio and stats for all three games will be available at RamblinWreck.com.
