ATLANTA – Wednesday’s softball game between Georgia Tech and No. 2 Alabama scheduled for 6 p.m. at Mewborn Field has been postponed due to the forecast for heavy rain throughout the day in Atlanta. It was be made up later in the season.
The Yellow Jackets are currently in Kennesaw, Ga., where they will face Penn State at 5:30 p.m. today. Tech returns home to host the Springhill Suites Buckhead Classic this weekend at Mewborn Field. The tournament begins Friday at 2 p.m. as Penn State will meet Bowling Green. The Yellow Jackets will then face Bowling Green at 4:30 p.m. Belmont and Georgia State are also in the tournament.
