THE FLATS – Two members of the Georgia Tech men’s tennis team, Andres Martin and Marcus McDaniel, have received All-ACC singles and doubles honors as announced by the conference on Monday.
For the second time in his collegiate career, No. 8 Martin has been named a member of the All-ACC Singles First Team. In total, the junior has now received three conference honors (2021-2023). Martin tallied a 21-5 record during the spring season with nine wins during conference play.

No. 82 McDaniel has been selected as a member of the All-ACC Singles Third Team, earning his third conference honor while competing at Tech. The junior finished dual match play with a 18-7 singles record, winning 15 matches at the No. 2 position. He has five wins over nationally-ranked opponents combined throughout the fall and spring. During ACC play, McDaniel tallied five singles victories.
Tech’s doubles pair, No. 28 Martin and McDaniel, has been recognized nationally during majority of the spring season. Although the two Jackets did not play the last five matches together, they still recorded a 10-6 record. The duo took down two ranked doubles pairs including South Carolina’s Connor Thomson and Toby Samuel who are currently No. 1 in the NCAA.
