Thomas is one of Tech’s leading playmakers on defense, as the junior from Fitzgerald, Ga., leads the team with four interceptions and is Tech’s second-leading tackler with 82.
Georgia Tech is headed to its 16th-consecutive bowl, and the Yellow Jackets are set for a New Year’s Eve date with USC in the 79th Hyundai Sun Bowl. Tech reached the ACC Championship Game in 2012 as the champions of the league’s Coastal Division.
