THE FLATS – Details are set for Georgia Tech football’s 2023 spring game – the White and Gold Game, presented by Georgia’s Own Credit Union – which will be played on Saturday, April 15 at Bobby Dodd Stadium. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
ADMISSION
Admission is FREE.
PARKING
FREE parking opens at 9 a.m. and is available for fans on a first-come, first-served basis in the following areas:
- Lower Peters parking deck (E52)
- Area 1 visitors parking (E46)
- Klaus deck (E40)
- McCamish Pavilion lot (E65)
PREGAME ACTIVITIES
Be sure to visit Callaway Plaza on the north end of Bobby Dodd Stadium (off Bobby Dodd Way, near Gates 6 and 7) beginning at 11 a.m. for a wide array of interactive activities for the whole family. Food and merchandise will be available for purchase and members of the Georgia Tech athletics ticket office will be on hand to provide information, answer questions and assist fans with purchasing their 2023 football season tickets.
GATES
Gates open at noon. The following gates will be open for fan entry:
- Gate 7 (general public and Georgia Tech students)
- Gate 8 (general public)
- Gate 9 (general public)
- Gate 6 (ADA seating)
All standard gameday stadium policies, including Georgia Tech’s clear bag policy, will be in effect for the spring game.
CONCESSIONS
Concessions will be available for purchase at stands throughout the stadium. Alcohol sales – including GT-branded Helluvienna Lager and Ale of an Engineer from New Realm Brewing Co. – will end at the beginning of the third quarter.
GAME FORMAT
The game will include two 12-minute quarters with standard clock operations in the first half. Following a brief halftime, the second half will include two quarters with a running clock. Team rosters will be announced the week of the game.
BROADCASTS
The White and Gold Game, presented by Georgia’s Own, will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra. Replays of the game will be carried on ACC Network, with the first replay set to air on Tuesday, April 18 at 11 a.m. Announcers for the TV broadcast will be Jason Ross (play-by-play) and Forrest Conoly (analyst).
The contest will also be carried live on radio stations across the Georgia Tech Sports Network from Legends. In Atlanta, the broadcast can be heard on the flagship station of Georgia Tech Sports Network, 680 AM/93.7 FM The Fan, as well as The Fan’s sister station, Xtra 106.3 FM/1230 AM. Atlanta-area coverage will move exclusively to Xtra 106.3 FM/1230 AM when The Fan begins its coverage of the Atlanta Braves’ 4:10 p.m. ET game at Kansas City. In addition to radio stations across the Georgia Tech Sports Network, the radio broadcast can be heard worldwide on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets app. The Yellow Jackets’ football radio broadcast team of Andy Demetra (play-by-play) and Tech Hall-of-Famer Joe Hamilton (analyst) will call all of the action on the Georgia Tech Sports Network.
POSTGAME AUTOGRAPH SESSION
A postgame autograph session with Georgia Tech football student-athletes, presented by The Tech Way, will be held beginning 30 minutes after the game. The hour-long autograph session is open to all fans in attendance and free Georgia Tech football posters will be provided (limit one item to be autographed per person). The autograph session will be held on Bobby Dodd Stadium’s north concourse.
