Georgia’s Own to Serve as Presenting Sponsor of Tech Spring Game

THE FLATS – Georgia’s Own Credit Union will serve as the presenting sponsor of Georgia Tech football’s spring game, which is set for Saturday, April 15. Tech’s White and Gold Game, presented by Georgia’s Own, will kick off at 1 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

The partnership between Georgia Tech athletics and Atlanta-based Georgia’s Own will also include Georgia’s Own serving as the presenting sponsor of a pair of events in August – Tech football’s First Saturday on The Flats (date TBA) and House Party at Bobby Dodd Stadium, which is held for Tech students during the Institute’s Welcome Week.

“We’re proud to have Georgia’s Own Credit Union serve as the presenting sponsor of three great events at Bobby Dodd Stadium – our football spring game, First Saturday on The Flats and Welcome Week House Party,” Georgia Tech director of athletics J Batt said. “We’re grateful for Georgia’s Own’s support and honored to partner with such an iconic and outstanding organization.”

Also as part of the partnership, Georgia Tech football events – including each home game in 2023 – will be commemorated on the prominent LED board atop Georgia’s Own’s headquarters in downtown Atlanta.

“We are thrilled to support Georgia Tech athletics and Yellow Jacket football as they kick off their 2023 season with the spring game – and as they compete in the fall as well,” said Dave Preter, Georgia’s Own Credit Union president & CEO. “This is a special partnership to us as we both have deep roots in Atlanta, and we’ve watched their teams dazzle fans and rally the community for generations. We look forward to rooting them on this season and for years to come!”

Legends, which has managed corporate partnerships and multimedia rights for Georgia Tech athletics since 2021, facilitated the partnership with Georgia’s Own.
