#TheBuzz, a Georgia Tech women’s basketball social media series, goes behind the scenes each week to get to know one of the Yellow Jackets. This week, the Yellow Jackets got to know junior Roddreka Rogers.
Rogers, a junior from Charlotte, N.C., is one of the top returning rebounders from the 2013-14 squad that finished the season 20-12. Rogers averaged 6.0 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game. She grabbed a total of 212 rebounds, which is tied for seventh most by a sophomore all-time at Georgia Tech. Rogers was second on the team in rebounding and led the Jackets with her 56.2 shooting percentage (73-for-130).
Rogers and the Yellow Jackets host Flagler in an exhibition game on Nov. 2 at 2 p.m. at McCamish Pavilion. Season tickets can be purchased online, by calling the 888-TECH-TIX or by visiting the ticket office at 150 Bobby Dodd Way.
