2011 All-ACC (First Team)
As a Sophomore (2011): Appeared in 33 games making 18 starts on the season … Tallied a .387 hitting percentage, second on the team, going 29-for-75 at the plate tallying a double and seven home runs on the year for a .680 slugging percentage … Knocked in 15 RBIs scoring 11 runs of her own … Took over at first base for Kristine Priebe during the Georgia (April 13) game and earned a spot as the DH for the remainder of the season … Went 3-for-3 with a homerun against Georgia (April 13) scoring two runs and hitting in another two … Was 3-for-3 once again against UNC (April 16) with a three-run homer … Continued her success against UNC (April 16-17) with three more hits and another home run in the rest of the weekend series … Registered home runs in three-straight games against Georgia and UNC … Smashed three homeruns against Virginia (April 23)to tie a school record going 3-for-4 against the Cavaliers recording four RBIs and three runs … Was 5-for-10 in the series with Boston College (May 1-2) scoring two runs and driving in three notching another home run … Was 2-for-3 against Oklahoma State (May 20) in the NCAA Tournament Regional in Knoxville, Tenn.
As a Freshman (2010): Played in 47 games while starting in 31 in her debut season…Posted a season batting average of .322…Ended with a slugging percentage of .548 and an on-base percentage of .355…Had seven home runs and 31 RBI…Also finished with a fielding percentage of .975…Went 2-for-3 with a home run and a double against Hawaii (Feb. 20)…Went a perfect 3-for-3 and also forced a walk against Iowa (Feb. 28)…Posted a career-high five RBI and a home run with going 2-for-4 at North Carolina (March 20)…Went 3-for-5 to score two runs at Florida State (April 24).
High School: Four-year letterwinner for coach Brian DeBerry … Led team to regional championship in both 2006 and 2007 and to the [quote]Elite 8[quote] in the 2008 state championships … Two-time first-team All-Southern Crescent … First-team all-state and participant in the North/South All-Star Game … Wendy[apos]s High School Heisman Female State Winner in 2008-09 … As a team captain in 2008, batted .484 and had an on-base percentage of .537 … Hit .312 as a sophomore and .335 as a junior while combining for 27 doubles, three triples, 10 home runs and 58 RBI over her last three seasons … Also earned four letters in track and field and three in basketball … Four-time county champion in the shot-put, three-time regional champion and 2007 state champion … 2008 Track and Field All-American and placed third in the shot put at the National Scholastic Indoor Championship … 2007 Atlanta Track Club Athlete of the Year and four-time school MVP … School activities included Beta Club, HOBY Ambassador, Principal[apos]s Award, Most Outstanding Freshman, Henry County Academic Athlete of the Year, Georgia Certificate of Merit and President[apos]s Award … Has played travel ball for the Georgia Mustangs for three years, the Xtreme Mavericks for one season and the Georgia Knockouts this past travel season … Has led her travel ball teams in home runs the last four years and her high school squad the last two seasons … Attended 14-U Nationals in 2006 and 16-U nationals in 2007 with the Georgia Mustangs as well as the 18-U Gold Nationals with the Georgia Knock-Outs in 2009.
