Rajevac Leads Tech at Crimson Tide Fall Tournament

Tuscaloosa, Ala. – Marko Rajevac leads Georgia Tech at the Crimson Tide Fall Tournament in Tuscaloosa, Ala. Rajevac won the first two rounds in singles action in straight sets. Later in the day, Rajevac teamed with Scott Blackmon for a first round win in doubles action.

In the Flight A bracket, sophomore Zachary Rath defeated Manuel Miletic of Samford in the first round before falling to Luigi D’Agord of Alabama. Freshman Scott Blackmon was downed in the first round by Notre Dame’s Sheva Parbu. In the consolation bracket of Flight A, Blackmon took out Marcoliver Lux of Southern Mississippi in three sets.

In other action, George Gvelesiani fell in three sets in Flight B, but came back in the afternoon to defeat Rodney Rapson of Jacksonville State in the consolation bracket. Noah Tyler, the number one seed in Flight C, fell in three sets to Marcos Digliodo of Colorado.
