ATLANTA – Chioma Nnamaka was named Georgia Tech Student-Athlete of the Week for Monday, December 11, 2006.
Nnamaka, a junior from Uppsala, Sweden, tied her season-high of 22 points on eight-of-12 from the field including five-of-seven from beyond the arc in a 79-57 victory over Jacksonville. She also grabbed a team-high four offensive rebounds and a total of six for the game in team-high 30 minutes of play.
