Jackets, Devils to renew rivalry on national television

THE FLATS – Next Saturday’s (Oct. 10) game between Georgia Tech and undefeated Duke will be televised nationally on ESPN2, the Atlantic Coast Conference and its television partners announced late Saturday night. As announced earlier this week, kickoff for the 93rd all-time meeting between the Yellow Jackets and Blue Devils is set for 3:30 p.m. at Georgia Tech’s Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field.

Tech and Duke have one of the ACC’s longest-standing rivalries, as they are squaring off on the gridiron for the 93rd time in 94 seasons (a 90-year streak between the Jackets and Devils was snapped when the teams didn’t play in 2023). Duke will become the Yellow Jackets’ second-most-played all-time opponent when the teams meet next Saturday, surpassing Auburn (92 all-time meetings) and trailing only Tech’s archrival Georgia (119 meetings).

Georgia Tech leads the all-time series with the Blue Devils, 56-31-1, including wins in each of the last five matchups. However, Duke brings a flawless 4-0 record (1-0 ACC) into next Saturday’s game.

Georgia Tech will celebrate Reck Day, in recognition of the 65th anniversary of the Ramblin’ Reck, in conjunction with next Saturday’s game. Click HERE for ticket specials, including $19.61 tickets, $65 off tickets in the new Wreck Deck premium area, as well as more information on giveaways and special events in celebration of Reck Day.

The game is a part of Georgia Tech’s annual Hall of Fame Weekend. Ten Yellow Jacket legends – including football standouts Jeremiah Attaochu and Harrison Butker and legendary coaches Danny Hall and Grover Hinsdale – will be honored during the 2026 Georgia Tech Sports Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Friday night (Oct. 9) and at halftime of Saturday’s game.
