THE FLATS – Georgia Tech athletics has renewed its contractual agreement with Paciolan, extending an association with the ticketing platform that dates back more than four decades.
Paciolan has served as Georgia Tech athletics ticketing platform provider since 1984, and also provides Tech athletics with marketing, fundraising and data analytics services. Utilizing Paciolan’s capabilities, Tech athletics has sold out 65 events since the beginning of the 2025-26 seasons (including three sold-old concerts at Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field) and generated record-setting revenue through ticket sales and donations to the Alexander-Tharpe Fund.
The continuation of the agreement includes several significant fan-friendly elements to enhance communication and engagement.
Notably, Georgia Tech athletics has begun utilizing Paciolan iQ, which consolidates ticketing, fundraising and consumer data into a centralized database and enables a comprehensive view of segmentation and insights that can be transformed into actionable intelligence. That data can be employed through Paciolan’s marketing automation tools to enhance connection with fans through customized messaging based on affinities and past-purchase history.
PAC io Fundraising allows Tech athletics to manage giving and donor levels, utilize a unified view of fans and donors and incorporate giving as a natural piece of the ticketing experience.
On gamedays, Georgia Tech athletics has incorporated PAC io Entry, which facilitates streamlined and integrated event entry for fans using NFC contactless technology, and provides real-time data such as access point heat maps and entry alerts as a part of Tech athletics’ commitment to enhancing fan experience.
Looking ahead to the upcoming renovation of Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field, Georgia Tech will employ Paciolan’s Ballena Seats 3D to provide fans with visualization of options during the required reseating process.
