• Georgia Tech returns to action when it renews one of the Atlantic Coast Conference's
longest-standing rivalries against No. 23-ranked Duke.

• Georgia Tech and Duke are meeting for the 93rd time in 94 seasons. Since the
series began in 1933, the only season that the Yellow Jackets and Blue Devils didn't
square off was in 2023, which snapped a streak of 90-consecutive seasons that the
rivalry was played.

• With their 93rd meeting, Duke will become Georgia Tech's second-most-played
all-time oppponent, surpassing Auburn (92 all-time meetings) and trailing only
archrival Georgia (119 meetings).

• Tech holds a commanding 56-35-1 lead in the all-time series, including wins in
each of the last five matchups.

• The Jackets' five-game winning streak against Duke is their longest since they
won 10-straight games in the series from 2004-13.

• The Yellow Jackets face one of their biggest challenges of the season to date
when they host the 23rd-ranked and defending ACC champion Blue Devils, who
bring an eight-game overall winning streak into this week's matchup, dating back to
last season.

• However, head coach Brent Key's Jackets have consistently risen to the occasion
as an underdog, as they are a gaudy 7-1 against nationally ranked ACC opponents
under Key. Tech has been unranked in all seven victories.
