THE FLATS — The 102nd season of the National Football League is almost upon us and several former Yellow Jackets started the season strong in this week’s #ProJackets Football Report.
Darren Waller’s Las Vegas Raiders improved to 2-0 during Week 2, taking a 26-17 victory over Pittsburgh. In the win, Waller hauled in five passes for 65 yards (13.0/catch) on seven targets. On the flipside for the Steelers, Pressley Harvin III continued to look strong, booming a 59-yard punt en route to 197 total yards (four punts) to average 49.3 per punt.

For the Jacksonville, defensive end Adam Gotsis made his 2021 debut in style, recording two tackles (both solo) and 1.0 tackle for loss – a 9-yard sack of Teddy Bridgewater in the third quarter that would force the Broncos to punt. The Jaguars couldn’t hang on for the win unfortunately, falling 23-13.
Meyer also singled out Adam Gotsis as a standout. I agree, he's a very solid run defender. Was a little shocked he was inactive Week 1.
