Tech will be back in action on Friday, as day three of the ACC Championships will start with prelims at 10 a.m. before finals begin at 6 p.m.
Men’s Highlights
Pumputis led the way in the 200 IM, finishing first with a time of 1:41.28, shattering the school record and pool record at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The record eclipses Gal Nevo’s mark of 1:42.79 that was set in 2009. The first place finish gave the Jackets their first ACC Swimming Champion since 2012 when Anton Lagerqvist won the 200 breast.
