Georgia Tech #ProJackets Football Report: Mason an AFC Champion

THE FLATS — Georgia Tech #ProJacket Shaq Mason is an AFC Champion for the second-straight season, as the New England Patriots posted a 24-20 comeback win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC Championship game on Sunday evening.

Mason helped anchor an offensive line that recorded a total of 344 offensive yards (298 passing, 46 rushing) and a total of 14 points in the fourth quarter to overcome a 14-point deficit. 

The Patriots will take on the NFC Champions in the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LII on Sunday, Feb. 4, at 6:30 p.m. ET at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minn.

In other #ProJackets’ news, rookie kicker Harrison Butker was named to the Pro Football Writers 2017 NFL all-rookie team, while wide receiver DeAndre Smelter was recently signed by the Indianapolis Colts where he will join fellow #ProJackets Chris Milton and D.J. White.
