Michael Isenhour Toy Drive

Nov. 11, 2004

ATLANTA–The Georgia Tech Student-Athlete Advisory Board will sponsor the fourth annual Michael Isenhour Memorial Toy Drive at the Yellow Jackets’ Nov. 20 home football game against Virginia at Bobby Dodd Stadium/Grant Field.

Fans are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy to the game. Tech student-athletes from all sports will be collecting items at all gates of Bobby Dodd Stadium, beginning 90 minutes prior to kickoff.

The kickoff time for the Tech-Virginia game will be announced Sunday.

Toys will be donated to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The Toy Drive is named in honor of former Tech basketball letterman and Student-Athlete Advisory Board member Michael Isenhour, who died in 2002 following a battle with leukemia. Isenhour spearheaded the first Toy Drive in 2001, and since then, the Advisory Board has continued the annual project in his memory.
