THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis announced Wednesday the singing off incoming freshman Hidde Schoenmakers, who will join the squad in fall 2025.
The incoming freshman from the Netherlands holds an overall 77-35 juniors record, with a 48-11 record in 2024.
Schoenmakers holds four ITF juniors singles titles and eight ITF juniors doubles titles. The 17-year-old also reached the Junior Davis Cup Finals with the Dutch team.
Schoenmakers enters 2025 ranked 91 in the World Tennis Junior Rankings and holds 511.75 ITF points.

Full Steam Ahead is a $500 million fundraising initiative to achieve Georgia Tech athletics’ goal of competing for championships at the highest level in the next era of intercollegiate athletics.
