Men's Tennis Returns Home to Face Furman

Atlanta – The Yellow Jackets (5-5, 2-0) return home after winning two back-to-back road tests to host Furman (5-7, 0-0) Friday, March 9 at 2:30 p.m. at the Bill Moore Tennis Center on the Georgia Tech Campus.

Georgia Tech leads the all-time series with Furman, 21-3, and hasn’t dropped a meeting since 1993 when the Paladins earned a 5-2 win over the Jackets in Greenville, S.C. The teams have faced each other in each of the past 19 seasons with Tech winning all but one.

They last met in the 2006 home opener on Feb. 8 when Tech swept Furman, 7-0. The Jackets have given up only seven points to the Paladins in the last six meetings.

Admission to all Georgia Tech home tennis matches is free.
