TOP STORYLINES

• Georgia Tech baseball finishes up its five-game homestand with longtime SEC foe Auburn on April 11 at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium.

• Auburn is Tech’s second-most common opponent with 244 games played since 1897. Last season was the first year since 2014 that the two teams haven’t played.

• Tech has gone 2-4 in its last two weekend series against top-15 opponents, including against then-No. 13 North Carolina when Tech had to play the three-game series in 24 hours due to inclement weather.

• Where Tech has excelled is at the plate, ranking No. 2 in the ACC in average (.319) with seven .300 hitters in the lineup: Kristian Campbell (.458), Jake DeLeo (.403), Angelo Dispigna (.362), Jackson Finley (.346), Stephen Reid (.325), Jadyn Jackson (.316) and Jack Rubenstein (.303).

• Just in ACC play, Tech is leading the league as one of only two teams hitting .300, hitting .311 overall.

• Campbell has been red-hot of late and is hitting a team-best .458 overall. In his last 10 games, he’s hit .525 with 21 hits, six doubles and a home run with a .608 on-base percentage.

• Also hitting .400 is DeLeo (.403), who is top 10 in average, doubles (14), hits (56), home runs (10), total bases (102) and slugging (.734).

• Leading the team in power has been Finley, who has launched 11 home runs. He ranks top 10 in the ACC in doubles (12), home runs, RBI (34), slugging (.779) and total bases (81).

• Closer RHP Terry Busse continues to be one of the top closers in the country, ranking fifth nationally and second in the ACC with seven saves, in addition to a 0.84 ERA.

• RHP Logan McGuire will get his second spot start as he continues to work back from injury.
