• This is just the third time the Jackets and Owls have faced off in a three-game series, usually battling in midweek contests (2006, 2009).
• Head coach Danny Hall reached 1,300 career wins against FSU, becoming just the fourth active Division I coach to reach the milestone and 20th all-time.

• Tech is still No. 2 in the ACC in hitting at .284 for the season and is No. 2 in league play at .295.
• Georgia Tech also leads in doubles, second in hits and on-base percentage, third in triples and fourth in slugging.
• True freshman Kevin Parada still leads the Jackets and is ninth in the ACC, hitting .336 on 49 hits.
• Also close to .300 is Tres Gonzalez (.336), Luke Waddell (.292), Justyn-Henry Malloy (.298), Drew Compton (.288) and Jake DeLeo (.283).
• Malloy (32) and Gonzalez (31) rank third and fourth, respectively, in the ACC for walks. Gonzalez is fourth in on-base percentage (.469), while Parada leads the league with 14 doubles.
• True freshman Marquis Grissom, Jr. will join the weekend rotation, having worked to a 3.86 ERA in just three appearances back from preseason injury.
• Weekend stalwarts Brant Hurter (3.78 ERA) and Andy Archer (4.06 ERA) will look to get back on track after taking losses last weekend.
• LHP Dalton Smith continued fine play of late, getting the win at Georgia, allowing an unearned run in 3.0 IP.
