Georgia Tech's Stephanie Higgs Earns All-Conference Accolades

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech sophomore Stephanie Higgs was named to the honorable mention all-ACC team for the 2004-05 season, as announced by the Atlantic Coast Conference office Tuesday afternoon.

The Lawrenceville, Ga. native earned the honor for the first time in her career after finishing the regular season leading the team in scoring with 13.7 points per game while standing second in assists (49) and steals (40).

Georgia Tech will be the No. 8 seed in the 2005 ACC Tournament, which begins Friday at 11 a.m. when the Yellow Jackets meet the No. 9 seed, Miami, at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, NC.
