Location: Bouckaert Farm (10045 Cedar Grove Rd., Fairburn, Ga., 30213)
Description: The Georgia Tech XC Invitational is an open meet. Collegiate and club teams, as well as unattached collegiate and post-collegiate competitors will be permitted provided they have followed the below entry process and paid entry fees.
Intent to Compete: If you plan to attend, please email Brian Robinson at brobinson@athletics.gatech.edu. This will help us with planning and logistics.
Entry Information: Entries close Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 12:00 p.m.. Team entries must be made through Direct Athletics. There is no limit to team entries. Unattached individuals should email Brian Robinson at brobinson@athletics.gatech.edu to enter.
Entry Fee: $250 per team per gender (no entry fee for unattached individuals)
Course Markings: Flagging will be utilized where needed. Splits for each 1k and each Mile will be marked on the course.
Course Preview: Course is available for preview after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024
Packet Pick-up: Packets will be available after 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024 during course preview OR starting at 6:30 a.m. on race day.
Clerking Procedure: Clerking will take place from 80 to 20 minutes prior to the start of each race. One coaching staff member from each competing institution will be allowed to complete the check-in process for their team and/or student-athlete(s). ALL SCRATCHES MUST BE REPORTED and competitor bibs for athletes not racing must be turned in to be listed as DNS. Bibs not turned in will be listed as DNF.
Timing/Results: The Perfect Timing Group will be the official timer. Live and final results will be available on their website HERE , as well as at www.ramblinwreck.com.
Team Tents: Team tents may be set up in the team tent area.
Parking: Team parking and spectator parking are available as noted on map above or here.
Scoring/Awards: The meet will be scored according to official NCAA Cross Country scoring procedures. Awards will be given to the top two teams and the top 10 individuals.
Shower Facilities: No shower or locker room facilities are available.
Athletic Trainer: An Athletic Training tent will be available for basic medical needs and fluids. Contact Beverli Owens (bowens@athletics.gatech.edu) for specific medical needs.
