THE FLATS – Georgia Tech football’s 2019 spring game will be played on Friday, April 26 at Bobby Dodd Stadium, head coach Geoff Collins announced this week.
“I don’t think there’s a better backdrop in all of college football than a night game in Bobby Dodd Stadium,” Collins said. “Under the lights, the backdrop of downtown Atlanta – I just think that’s such a special environment. I want recruits and our fan base to engage in that.
“I’m calling all Georgia Tech fans and former players to come enjoy that night with us,” he continued. “Our players are going through an offseason program that’s going to be challenging. They’re going to work really hard together to form the culture that’s going to move us ahead, so they’ll really appreciate the reward of people being in the stands to show that they value all of the hard work that they’re going to put in for this great program and this great brand.”
More details on the Yellow Jackets’ spring game, including kickoff time, will become available in the coming weeks.
