Georgia Tech Baseball Cancelled Due to Rain

FULLERTON, Calif. (Mar. 5) — Georgia Tech’s scheduled baseball games on Sunday against Cal State Fullerton and Mississippi State have been cancelled due to rain.

The Jackets completed just one of their three games in the 2000 Kia Baseball Bash, falling to No. 7 Southern California by a 9-2 score on Friday afternoon before rain beleaguered the Los Angeles area. Saturday’s scheduled game against CSUF was postponed on Saturday night due to inclement weather and was slated to be played at 3:30 ET today, before the remainder of the tournament was washed out on Sunday.

Tech will return to action on Friday evening at 7 p.m. as the Jackets host Connecticut in the first game of a three-game series at Russ Chandler Stadium.
