GREENSBORO, NC – Georgia Tech’s Kele Eveland (Grand Rapids, Mich.) earned Atlantic Coast Conference Rookie of the Week honors for her performance last weekend. Eveland led the Yellow Jackets to a 4-0 record with wins over UNC Wilmington, Georgia State and two over Davidson.
The freshman setter recorded 134 assists on the weekend for a 12.18 per game average. In addition, Eveland tacked on 3.73 digs per game and a .308 hitting percentage and was named to the Davidson Wildcat Classic all-tournament team.
