Kenny Lucky is in his second season as a graduate assistant coach at Georgia Tech. He works primarily with the Yellow Jackets’ defensive backs.
Lucky brought several years of coaching experience to The Flats, including as the cornerbacks coach at Dayton (2018), outside linebackers coach at Morehead State (2019), defensive backs coach at Southern Arkansas (2020) and a defensive quality control assistant at Akron (2021). He also served as a graduate assistant at his alma mater, Ohio, in 2017, after previously spending four years as a student assistant with the Bobcats. Prior to joining the Georgia Tech staff, Lucky was also a coach at the National Playmakers Academy in Chattanooga, Tenn.
A Dayton, Ohio native, Lucky earned a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Ohio in 2017 and a master’s in coaching education from OU in 2019.
