Braves' Organist To Play At May 18 Baseball Game Versus Miami

March 21, 2012

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech has announced that Atlanta Braves’ organist Matthew Kaminski will play live during the Yellow Jackets’ baseball game versus Miami on Friday, May 18 at Russ Chandler Stadium.

Kaminski, who has served as the official organist of the Braves since 2009, offers in-game music entertainment during every Braves’ home game. He will bring his talents to Flats for the key Friday night ACC showdown with the Hurricanes.

“We are very excited to have Matthew on board for the Miami game,” said associate director of athletics Wayne Hogan. “There’s no doubt he’ll add to an already great atmosphere for baseball at Russ Chandler Stadium and we’re excited about working with him in the future.”

Kaminski graduated in 2000 Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Music from Georgia State and also holds a master’s degree in music from GSU. He currently teaches at The Peggy Still School of Music’s Alpharetta and Atlanta locations, and has taught at the college level for Georgia Tech.
