THE FLATS – Georgia Tech men’s tennis is set to start ACC play on Friday, March 4 at 4 p.m. when they travel to South Bend, Ind. to face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish followed with another road ACC match against the Louisville Cardinals on Sunday, March 6 at 10 a.m.
The Yellow Jackets are coming off of a dominating double header victory against The Citadel where Tech did not drop a single set.
In the latest ITA College Tennis Rankings, Tech has two ranked singles players in Andres Martin (No. 12) and Keshav Chopra (No. 105) but also a top 10 doubles pairing in Martin and Marcus McDaniel (No. 8).
Notre Dame features one ranked singles player in Axel Nefve (No. 95) while Louisville does not feature any.
Georgia Tech was ranked 44 in the most recent ITA Collegiate Tennis Poll while their opponent were ranked 32 (Notre Dame) and 45 (Louisville).
Following these road matches, The White and Gold return to Ken Byers Tennis Complex for two home matches against Virginia and Virginia Tech on March 18 and 20.
