THE FLATS – Georgia Tech swimming and diving kicked of Men’s NCAA competition with the 200 medley relay and 800 free relay.
In the 200 medley relay, Berke Saka, Caio Pumputis, Christian Ferraro and Austin Daniel took to the pool turning in a time of 1:24.62.
The 800 free relay team comprised of, Batur Ünlü, Clark Wakeland, Daniel Kertesz and Saka. They finished second in their heat clocking in at 6:20.35.
The White and Gold continue NCAA Championship competition on Thursday with the 500 free, 200 IM, 50 free and 200 free relay. Mert Kilavuz will compete in the 500 free, while Pumputis and Saka will compete in the 200 IM with Ferraro rounding out the Tech swimmers, competing in the 50 free.
